All right, so as some of you may be aware (and others may be unaware), I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/CFS. It has gotten progressively worse over the last six months or so, and it is starting to affect my work and the things I love to do.
My family, including my 'extended' family here, has been very helpful and supportive. I'm reminded every day what great and caring people they are.
Now to the point. I am actually in line to recieve a service dog that will both help with my chronic pain (allowing me to reduce pain medications) but will also help extend my ability to work. X-CPR is a small, non-profit organization that matches these heat therapy and service dogs to chronic pain patients that need them. Unfortunately at this time they don't have enough in the way of donations to cover the cost of my recieving a dog. So, a donation page has been set up in my name. The donation is tax-deductable and goes directly to X-CPR (I don't touch it). Once the cost is covered the process will go forward and with any luck, I will be able to recieve my service dog.
Thank you to everyone for just hearing me out and for your good thoughts. If you would like to donate, please click on the link. Thank you!
